Scope of Safety Net Protection Benefits
Subject to full compliance with these Terms & Conditions, Safety Net Protection provides the following limited flexibility benefits in relation to the Initial Booking Segment only:
1. Cancellation Flexibility
The Client may cancel their Booking and receive a Credit equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the land-only portion of the Booking, provided that:
(a) written notice of cancellation is received by Tweet World Travel no later than thirty (30) days prior to the Departure Date; and
(b) the Booking relates solely to the Initial Booking Segment.
For the avoidance of doubt, this benefit excludes all airfares, insurance, visa costs, third-party supplier fees, and any Additional Services.
2. Date Change Flexibility
The Client is entitled to request one (1) change to the Departure Date of the Booking, subject to the following conditions:
(a) the request must be made in writing at least thirty (30) days prior to the original Departure Date;
(b) the new Departure Date is subject to availability and confirmation by Tweet World Travel and relevant Travel Suppliers;
(c) any price difference, supplier-imposed increase, seasonal surcharge, or fare adjustment must be paid by the Client; and
(d) once a date change is confirmed, no further date changes are permitted under Safety Net Protection.
3. Name Change Flexibility
The Client may request ONE (1) name change, EITHER complete change of a passenger OR one correction to a passenger’s name, including spelling errors, typographical mistakes, subject to the following conditions:
(a) the request must be submitted in writing at least thirty (30) days prior to the Departure Date;
(b) the replacement passenger must meet all travel requirements, including visa, health, and documentation obligations;
(c) any third-party supplier fees, amendment fees, or additional costs arising from the name change shall be borne by the Client; and
(d) once a name change is processed, no further name changes are permitted for that passenger under Safety Net Protection.
4. Protection for Unforeseen Circumstances
Where the Client is unable to travel due to Unforeseen Circumstances, the Client may cancel their Booking and receive a Credit equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the land-only portion of the Booking, provided that:
(a) the cancellation request is submitted at least thirty (30) days prior to the Departure Date;
(b) the claim is supported by reasonable written evidence acceptable to Tweet World Travel; and
(c) the circumstances fall within the definition of Unforeseen Circumstances under Clause 1.9.
This provision is discretionary and subject to assessment by Tweet World Travel acting reasonably.
5. General Conditions Applicable to All Benefits
All benefits under Safety Net Protection are subject to the following conditions:
(a) Safety Net Protection applies strictly to the Initial Booking Segment and does not extend to Additional Services unless expressly confirmed in writing;
(b) all Credits issued are subject to validity periods and conditions as determined by Tweet World Travel;
(c) Safety Net Protection is single-use, and once any benefit is exercised, all remaining benefits are forfeited;
(d) all changes, cancellations, or requests must be submitted in writing and acknowledged by Tweet World Travel; and
(e) all benefits are subject to availability, operational requirements, and third-party supplier conditions.
6. Pricing Adjustments and Credit Validity
Where a Booking is amended pursuant to Safety Net Protection, the new Departure Date and associated travel arrangements will be subject to repricing based on the fares, rates, charges, supplier costs, taxes, surcharges, and booking conditions applicable at the time the amended Booking is requested and confirmed.
(a) If the amended Booking is priced higher than the original Booking, the Client must pay the full price difference as a condition of confirmation.
(b) If the amended Booking is priced lower than the original Booking, the balance of the difference will be issued as a Credit.
(c) Any Credit issued under this clause may only be used towards the purchase of a Tweet Small Group Tour or Package with Tweet World Travel and must be redeemed within twenty-four (24) months from the date of issue.
(d) Any Credit not redeemed within the applicable twenty-four (24) month period will automatically expire and will not be refundable, extendable, or redeemable for cash.
(e) Credit may only be applied to a new eligible booking and is subject to availability, pricing applicable at the time of rebooking, and any other terms imposed by Tweet World Travel or relevant third-party suppliers.
General Conditions of Purchase
The purchase and use of Safety Net Protection is subject to the following conditions:

2. Payment Requirement
Full payment for Safety Net Protection must be made at the time of payment of the Booking deposit or full Booking amount (as applicable). Safety Net Protection will not be valid or effective unless such payment has been received in cleared funds by Tweet World Travel.
3. Mandatory Application to All Passengers
Where Safety Net Protection is selected, it must be purchased for all passengers included in the Booking. Partial application to selected passengers within the same Booking is not permitted.
4. Non-Refundable and Non-Cancellable
Safety Net Protection is strictly non-refundable and non-cancellable once purchased, except to the extent required by applicable law, including the Australian Consumer Law.
5. Single-Use Limitation

6. Non-Transferability
Safety Net Protection is personal to the Booking and is not transferable to another Booking, person, or travel arrangement, except where expressly permitted under the Name Change provisions of these Terms & Conditions.
7. Commencement of Coverage
Safety Net Protection becomes effective only upon receipt and confirmation of the required deposit or full payment for the Booking, together with full payment for Safety Net Protection. Prior to such time, no benefits or entitlements shall apply.
8. Compliance with Law
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to exclude, restrict, or modify any rights or remedies which the Client may have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other applicable legislation which cannot be excluded, restricted, or modified.
Credit Terms and Expiry
Any Credit issued under Safety Net Protection is subject to the following terms and conditions:

6. Insufficient Credit
Where the value of the Credit is less than the cost of the new Booking, the Client must pay the outstanding balance in full at the time of confirmation.
7. Non-Transferability
Credits are non-transferable and may only be used by the original Client associated with the Booking, except where a valid name change has been processed in accordance with these Terms & Conditions.

Activation of Cover
