Terms & Conditions for Douro River Cruise

Introduction

These Terms & Conditions outline the agreement between you, the participant, and Tweet World Travel Tour Operator & Wholesaler Pty. Ltd. (ACN 653 476 316), trading as Tweet World Travel (referred to as "TWT", "we", "us", or "our"). By accepting to participate in the Famil Trip 8-day cruise, from Portugal to Spain: Porto, the Douro Valley (Portugal), and Salamanca (Spain), you, the travel agent (referred to as "participant", "you", or "your"), agree to these Terms and Conditions.

1. Eligibility and Participation
  • The "Book-To-Win A Douro River Cruise Fam Trip 2025" promotion (referred to as the "Promotion") is open to Australian travel agents who meet the following criteria:
  • Location: Open to travel agents in Australia only.
  • Booking Requirements: Make a booking for any eligible CroisiEurope river or coastal cruise valued over $1,500 AUD per booking during the Eligible Period (5th November 2024 - 30th April 2025) for any cruise departure in 2025 or 2026.
  • Booking Method: Bookings must be made directly with Tweet World Travel via:

  • Deposit Payment: A deposit must be paid within the eligible period (5th November 2024 - 30th April 2025).
  • Exclusions: Employees, representatives, and immediate family members of Tweet World Travel are not eligible.

2. Trip Details
  • Fam Cruise Program:
  • Cruise Itinerary: From Portugal to Spain: Porto, the Douro Valley (Portugal), and Salamanca (Spain)
  • Departure Date: 24th July 2025
  • End Date: 31st July 2025
  • Ship: MS Amalia Rodrigues (Premium Ship)

The FAM trip includes:

  • Twin-sharing cabin (single supplement available)
  • Full-board meals
  • Applicable port charges and taxes

​3. Value of the Famil Trip:

The Famil Trip provided by Tweet World Travel and CroisiEurope is valued at over $4,268 per person twin share. This trip includes the cruise, all meals onboard, drinks, some shore excursions, and structured educational experiences designed specifically for travel agents. This valuation underscores the substantial investment Tweet World Travel and CroisiEurope is making in the professional development of participants to enhance their ability to effectively promote and sell travel experiences.

4. Participation fees and Inclusions
  • Tweet World Travel and CroisiEurope Cruise subsidizes the trip for twin-share basic.  Single supplement can be requested for an additional fee of $1,350 (subject to availability) .
  • Please note: International flights, travel insurance, visa fees, personal expenses, and any unscheduled activities are NOT included.

5. Acceptance and Booking
  • Participants must confirm their acceptance by 10 May 2025.
  •  A Single Supplement is available for a non-refundable fee of $1,350. and payment is required at the time of booking.

6. Cancellation by Participant
  • Cancellations must be made in writing via email to contact@tweetworldtravel.com
  • Cancellations made within 60 days prior to the tour departure date will incur an additional charge of $2,100.   An invoice will be issued with payment due to Tweet World Travel within seven days.  Please note that Single Supplement fees are non-refundable as stated in the Acceptance and Booking terms above.

7. Alterations by Tweet World Travel
  • Tweet World Travel reserves the right to alter or cancel the itinerary due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to natural disasters, political instability, or other factors beyond our control.
  • In the event of cancellation by Tweet world Travel, participants will receive a full refund of the amount paid without further compensation.

8. Conduct and Responsibilities
  • Participants are expected to conduct themselves in a professional manner and adhere to local laws and customs.
  • Participants are responsible for obtaining necessary visas and travel documents.

9. Liability
  • Tweet World Travel will not be liable for any injury, loss, damage, or expense arising from any act or omission by external vendors or third parties.
  • Participants are strongly advised to obtain comprehensive travel insurance.

10. Intellectual Property
  • Participants grant Tweet World Travel the right to use photographic, video, or digital likenesses taken during the trip for promotional purposes.

11. Acceptance of Risk
  • Participants acknowledge and accept the inherent risks associated with travel and cultural activities in a foreign country.

12. Dispute Resolution
  • Any disputes arising under these Terms and Conditions will be resolved in the jurisdiction of South Australia, where Tweet World Travel is headquartered.

By accepting to participate in the Tweet World Travel Fam Trip 8-day cruise, from Portugal to Spain: Porto, the Douro Valley (Portugal), and Salamanca (Spain), you are agreeing to these Terms and Conditions.
